The 18th edition of ANIMAR proposes a parallel programme focused on animation cinema, which includes guided tours and thematic workshops at Solar – Cinematic Art Gallery, film screenings at Vila do Conde Municipal Theatre and Auditorium, and activities at schools.

In the last few weeks, among other actions, we highlight the guided tour at Solar with a group of 20 students from Caxinas Elementary School, as well as the workshop organized with a group of Multimedia students from José Régio High School, both from Vila do Conde.

Note also the guided tour with a group of students from the University of Coimbra, which included the presence of Nuno Beato, director of 'My Grandfather's Demons', one of the films portrayed in the exhibition.

In May, a long duration workshop, oriented by directors Leonor Pacheco and Dimitri Mihaijlovic, will also take place at Escola Básica A Ribeirinha, in Macieira da Maia, Vila do Conde.
